Implementing Learning
Page Overview
This page contains the outlines of a variety of teaching strategies that I used to prepare my lessons.
Definition
It occurs within learning communities that meet to learn or refine instructional strategies; plan lessons that integrate the new strategies; share experiences about implementing those lessons; analyze student work together to reflect on the results of the use of the strategies, and assess their progress toward their goals(Implementation, 2022).
Professional Development Plan Goal
I used a professional development plan to link with implementing learning competency. I had action plans to achieve my objectives related to a specific timeframe. I aimed to implement differentiated instruction in my teaching practices.
This button is linked to my second goal:
Implementing creative activities during my teaching practices

Description
In this lesson, it showed from the first photo the student created a crown of the animal's picture and drew it. In the second photo, the student implements the story of the brown bear by drawing the animal's pictures and tracing the sentences. the third photo is showed the student can recognize the colors of animals by sticking the picture of animals. In the fourth photo, the student shows their work to teacher. the fifthe picture the students are working in groups.
Rational
The process of education must be accompanied by the school activities that help to enrich the process of teaching, presentation, and learning inside the class and outside the classroom. Students learn through their participation in the attainment of knowledge by gathering information and processing it by solving problems and articulating what they have discovered. Each activity below provides students with opportunities to deepen their learning by applying concepts and articulating new knowledge and many of these activities also provide the instructor feedback about the students’ learning.
The Pair work benefits:
1-It enriches the skills of listening and speaking.
2- It creates fun and allows the teacher to use games, increasing learners' motivation and concentration.
3-If the whole class work in pairs, this will increase learners' attention.
4- It is used in error correction.
5- It increases language fluency.
6 - It is used as exam practice.
7-It increases the class dynamics as it enriches communication.
8-It offers intensive, realistic practice in speaking and listening.
9-It promotes a friendly classroom ambiance that is conducive to learning.

Reflection
This lesson shows the connection between theory and action. This type of activity is especially useful in scenarios where students are required to reflect on past learning, consider real-world implications, and let this reflection guide future actions and activities. students can engage in independent learning online through activities assigned by the professor, experience something in the real world, and reflect on the learning/experience using the assignment tool in Brightspace(Cox, 2021).

Description
In this lesson, it showed from the first photo the student create the letter F by using wooden materials. In the second picture, the student draw the fish which she saw in the water. In the third picture, the student observes the picture inside the slum and finds the picture starts with the letter F then draws the object. In the fourth picture, the student creates the fish by using paper and drawing it. In the sixth picture the student use ipad to trace the letter F
Rational
The first kind of memory. This mode is used within the first year of life (corresponding with Piaget’s sensorimotor stage). Thinking is based entirely on physical actions, and infants learn by doing, rather than by internal representation (or thinking).
It involves encoding physical action-based information and storing it in our memory. This mode continues later in many physical activities, such as learning to ride a bike. Many adults can perform a variety of motor tasks (typing, sewing a shirt, operating a lawnmower) that they would find difficult to describe in iconic (picture) or symbolic (word) form.
The aim of education should be to create autonomous learners. For Bruner (1961), the purpose of education is not to impart knowledge, but instead to facilitate a child's thinking and problem-solving skills which can then be transferred to a range of situations. Specifically, education should also develop symbolic thinking in children.
In 1960 Bruner's text, The Process of Education was published. The main premise of Bruner's text was that students are active learners who construct their own knowledge(McLeod, 2019).
Reflection
In this lesson, the teacher used different learning styles to implement the learning. she used real object which is living things for example fish to let the students observe and discover the fish which make the lesson fun and enjoyable.
An object lesson "is a teaching method that consists of using a physical object or visual aid as a discussion piece for a lesson. In the gospel classroom, an object lesson is a lesson part that uses an object or picture to teach a gospel principle. Object lessons are usually short, and they teach standards and principles, rather than specific doctrines or scriptures.
Sometimes it's difficult to teach the intangible aspects of the gospel. Using objects and pictures can be an effective way for teachers to help students understand spiritual principles. For example, a familiar object like soap could help students understand a more abstract principle like repentance. The Savior often referred to earthly objects (like bread, water, candles, and bushels) to help His listeners understand spiritual principles. When you use objects to teach the gospel, you are practicing one method the Savior also used when he taught(What is an object lesson? How often should I use one?).

Description
In this lesson, the teacher introduces the lesson by showing objects starting with the letter B. and then start making a mind map to increase the student cognitive skills and let them think. She used different activities such as a worksheet of letters and drawing the letter B. the second activity was creating a booklet of the letter B. the third activity is doing the worksheet by tracing and writing the letter B and drawing the pictures starting with letter B.

There is a different approach for the teacher to teach the students the concepts of the learning objectives. Mind Maps is one of the ways to study the student's lesson. It is a wonderful path to let the student think and discover the new vocabulary related to the lesson. Mind Mapping provides an effective approach for promoting better understanding in learning and training. It is built around several key elements which have been proven to play an important role in unleashing thinking capacity. Its flexibility also means that it possesses several uses when teaching. Mind Maps (or similar concepts) have been used for centuries, for learning, brainstorming, visual thinking, and problem-solving by educators, psychologists, and people in general. People have been using image-centered radial graphic organization techniques referred to variably as mental or generic mind maps for some areas. The term "Mind Map" was first popularized by a British psychologist and author Tony Buzan but the use of diagrams that visually map information using branching and radial maps traces back centuries. These pictorial methods record knowledge and model systems and have a long history in learning, brainstorming, memory, visual thinking, and problem-solving by educators, engineers, psychologists, and others(Arulselvi, 2017).
Reflection
This lesson was well prepared and the teacher tried to teach the students the concepts of the lesson. The students were engaged and participated with the teacher. Learning may be the most fun for the students when they don't know what to expect. Try to incorporate a sense of surprise and mystery into your lessons. When you're about to unveil a new lesson, give students a new clue each day up until the last day before the start of the lesson. This is a fun way to make your lesson mysterious, and you may find that your students are actually looking forward to finding out what they'll be learning about next (Cox, 10 Ways to Keep Your Class Interesting, 2019).
